About the walk/run for peace
The Walk/Run for Peace is an annual PBA community tradition stretching to former PBA Director of Advancement Rudiger “Rudy” Ruckmann. This year, family and friends are welcome to join the walk or a potluck in the park! All proceeds support our tuition assistance program.
It is PBA’s goal to make our college-preparatory curriculum available to the most socio-economically diverse population of students possible.

Frequently Asked QUestions
What if I can't find the group? The best way to find the parking lot is to use the longitude and latitude coordinates for your map on your mobile device: 21.264570, -157.818030. Contact Ms. Megan through Microsoft Teams or email [email protected] if you are lost.
Will there be water stations along the walk? No. You can walk with or without a water bottle / backpack. Water bottles will be at the potluck.
Can I walk and potluck? Not entirely. The potluck will be taking place at the same time as the walk. Walkers will finish at sunset with just enough time to close up the potluck.
Do we all walk together? No. We will all start together, but some people will complete the course faster than others. Students will choose a buddy to walk with. We will all meet back at the potluck location. Students should have a method of contacting an adult in case of an emergency on the walk.
What if I didn't sign up in time? We hope you can still make it! Contact Ms. Megan through Microsoft Teams or email [email protected] so we can be sure not to leave on our walk without you.
